As of April 2009, a new "tourist bus" began to run in Buenos Aires. It's a yellow double-decker that runs every 30 minutes from 9am to 5:30pm with stops in the city's most popular areas (Boca, Recoleta, Palermo, etc).
The full tour lasts around 3 hours and with the purchase of your ticket, you get a tour guide and a brochure in one of 5 or 6 languages and you can get "on-and-off" the bus at any stop.
A one day pass is 25$ and a two day pass, 35$. Pay on the bus or purchase your tickets in advance, from city touris
t offices.
For more information on the bus and it's route, visit this website (it has an English translation button) :

PS- there's a stop right across our downtown layover hotel. Just ask the concierge to point it out for you.
Enjoy the tour! and let me know if you liked it.
