Ready to try a new restaurant in Buenos Aires? One that serves outstanding beef dishes and traditional Argentinian food for a decent price? Try El Restaurante Trapiche, a local favorite in Palermo Viejo. It's only a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride from the hotel and the ride should cost you no more than five dollars each way.
If you go, sample the mouth watering, juicy, perfectly cooked, thick prime cuts of beef served with delicious mashed potatoes, impressive "design yourself" fresh salads and rich, creamed spinach. Menu prices are very reasonable, entrees are about ten dollars each. Servings are large, with a capital "L", so plan on sharing. Great Malbecs, are also available for about ten dollars a bottle.
Before you go, have the concierge call ahead to make your reservation. Also, ask him to request Nicolas as your server. Nicolas (photo enclosed) is used to working with crew members and he will take good care of you. Don't forget to tell him you work for the airlines.
El Trapiche restaurant accepts credit cards, has English menus and is open for lunch and dinner.
